A riad in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech embodies all exotic dreams with corners that look like they’ve come out of a fairy tale.
Gabriel and Alice lived in the South of France until they decided to change their lives and move to the capital of Morocco. There, they took over the reins of a traditional riad, which they transformed into a state-of-the-art boutique hotel, without sacrificing its traditional style at all. Thus, Le Riad Yasmine completely changed its philosophy, adopting the zen attitude of a cosmopolitan spa. The heart of the space is of course the inner courtyard with the emerald pool. In the surrounding area, they have created a small tropical jungle. Because they did not have much square footage at their disposal, they used a find: they painted large funky cacti on one of the walls, thus creating a tropical effect without many bulky real plants. Their hotel, in which they themselves live, of course, has 10 suites and rooms, each of which has its own special decoration.
